Frequently asked questions

  • My goal is to bring quality, ‘you-focused’ care to the heart of Minneapolis. While I proudly serve individuals across Minnesota, I believe it’s essential to honor and invest in the community I’ve called home. Growing up—and now working—on the Northside has highlighted the need for therapeutic services that feel genuine, approachable, and rooted in familiarity. I believe you deserve to feel seen and represented by those who support you. Click here to learn more about the vision and discover if I’m the right fit for your journey.

  • No. Insurance companies often impose limitations on therapy, such as session duration, frequency, and specific treatment requirements. They also require a mental health diagnosis and access to records in order to cover services. By not accepting insurance, we can offer greater flexibility in our work together while maintaining a higher level of confidentiality.

  • Northside Thrive commits to being upfront and transparent about our rates.

    • Individual Therapy (53+ mins): $185

    • Family/Couples Therapy: $200

If our rates don’t work for your budget, please reach out and we can discuss options that may make therapy more accessible for you.

Initial consultations are always free because finding the right fit is important—you shouldn't have to pay to determine if we're the right match for your journey.

We accept Healthcare Savings Account (HSA), and all major Credit/Debit cards.

  • Yes! I currently have availability on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I am accepting both individual and couples therapy clients.

  • I am currently offering therapy services exclusively via telehealth. This allows us to connect conveniently and securely from the comfort of your own space.

  • If you are unable to make your appointment,  I kindly ask for a 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged a $100 late cancellation fee. If you miss a session without notice, you’ll be responsible for the full session fee.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

  • Make sure your healthcare provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item.

  • You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
